Hi, I’m Gail Jerome-George a Certified Personal trainer and Fitness Instructor. I have been working and participating in the sports and fitness industry for over 25 years. Starting as a young teenager I was a sprinter with the Herne Hill Harriers & Belgrave Harriers athletic clubs for many years. It was there that I developed my lifelong passion for all things sports and fitness.
Additionally, I have worked as a physical education teacher, track & field coach, exercise to music Instructor, personal trainer and gym manager; amongst other roles to influence my eclectic and unique style. A qualified counsellor and social science graduate, the knowledge gained here has influenced the development of the psychological approach to weight management implemented in the SiMB course.

I really desired to get back in shape, improve my fitness levels, and lose weight, following the birth of my second child. I was finding it difficult to motivate myself and stick to a workout regime at home alone, so I decided to solicit the help of Gail at Caribsa Fitness. What was evident from my interactions with Gail was that she is incredibly passionate about health and fitness, and is someone who doesn’t just ‘talk the talk’; she walks it too.
